Wine Tastings

tour and wine tastings

The Pierreclos wine estate welcomes you for tours combining the history of the building with the art of wine tasting. Our workshops are suitable for everyone, beginners or connoisseurs, individuals, families, or groups of friends. They begin with a fifteen-minute introduction to the history of the château and the estate, followed by a tasting of our wines in the 13th-century cellar, and end with a tour of the historic cellars.

Tasting workshops are available by reservation only, by email at contact@chateaudepierreclos.com or by phone at +33 (0)3 85 35 73 73.

FAQ

It is possible to organize a tasting workshop for people with reduced mobility, however, due to its architecture, the château is not fully accessible. Please note: access to the south terrace is via a paved path, there are several small steps to enter the tasting room and, unfortunately, two staircases make access to the historic cellars difficult. We are aware of the difficulties this may cause. Once informed, our team can adapt the tour to ensure you have an enjoyable experience.

Our tasting workshops are suitable for families. We offer two options for children:

  • A glass of grape juice, an activity booklet, and games: €5/child.
  • A glass of grape juice, 4 appetizer bites, an activity booklet, and games: €15/child.

Yes. The wine tasted can be replaced by any beverage of your choice available in the store.

Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome. Please let us know if you’re bringing a dog when you make your reservation so we can inform the other participants.

No, there are no historical tours. Pierreclos Castle is a wine-producing château. For history lovers, we invite you to visit during the European Heritage Days weekend, when self-guided tours with a booklet are available.
